A leather corner sofa, or a leather corner suite is my favourite piece of living room furniture. It is huge and it is made of leather, so I think this pretty much sums up the main reasons why I love it so much. But seriously, it really is a large item. Only a corner sofa bed beats it in size really. But all corner sofas and suites are big, so there’s nothing dramatic about that, considering this blog is dedicated to them. But the main difference to other types of sofa is the fact that it is upholstered in leather. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the most popular corner suites are the 3 piece suites. These are furniture sets consisting of a two or three-seater couch and two armchairs. This is a great combination because it provides fantastic comfort for 4 or even five people at the same time, with each of them having enough space to relax. This is especially true for those two lucky ones that are seating in the armchairs and have them all for themselves.

Whenever you buy a new piece of furniture, clothes, or anything that has an effect on your look or on the look of your home, you should consider the things you already own and how the new item will match them. When you are buying a new corner suite, you should have this in mind and look for pieces that will match the living room furniture you already own. But not just the furniture. If you have engineered oak installed for example, you can also get a sofa in the colour of oak.
If the corner suite will go to your office, then it should match the office furniture, I think this is clear enough. You should mostly look at two things. The design and the colour of the corner suite. The material is not as important, at least not in most cases. If you have expensive furniture, you will probably look at leather corner suites, but again, this is by no means a rule.
If the rest of your furniture is in a contemporary design, then you will have to look for a contemporary corner suite. fluffy pillows will not look best if the rest of the living room has straight lines and is generally decorated in a minimalistic fashion. On the other hand a modern corner suite will look strange in a room filled with rustic furniture.
Make sure the colours also match. If the rest of the living room is in dark colour, a lighter suite might make it look better, but can also look quite strange. The best thing would be to take a photo of the room and try to insert pictures of different corner suites using image software, if you know how to use it. This way you will be able to see how a particular item might fit into the room.

One of my previous articles was about cheap corner suites and this one will be about something completely different – leather corner suites, one of the most expensive pieces of furniture.
Corner suites can be bought in many different fabrics, but the leather ones are the most expensive. A leather sofa of any shape is a prestigious sofa, but considering the most leather is used to build a leather suite it is natural they are the most expensive. There are many reasons why these types of corner suites are so expensive is the fact that real genuine leather takes a lot of craftsmanship to produce. Sure, there are is factory leather that is cheaper and there is also the fake (or faux) leather option, but those are just cheap copies you probably don’t want. You are better off to save money for a while longer or perhaps even take a small loan and get that genuine leather corner suite.
The reason why I recommend a genuine leather corner suite so much is not only because of the prestige it gives, but even more because of the quality it provides and the long lasting effect real leather has. A corner suite made of real leather is not easy to tear or wear out so it will last for quite many more years than those fake ones so in the end your investment will pay off.
A leather corner sofa fits almost any type of a living room or an office and it does not matter whether you like a more traditionally designed furniture or you are fond of contemporary interior design – leather corner suites are available in both styles so you will probably have no trouble finding a proper one for your home.

So you decided to spend a couple of pounds on living room furniture and get yourself a brand new corner suite. That is actually a great idea, because corner suites or corner sofas as people also name them, are a fantastic way to spend money. They really do have many advantages, but the two most important ones are:
- Corner sofas take little space because they take the corner place which is very rarely filled with anything else.
- Corner suites offer a lot of resting area because they are usually quite large

But the problem is that the suppliers are very aware of these advantages and they tend to use them in their favour and you know what that means. Yes, it means they put a price tag with many zeros on each corner suite. But still, considering all the pros these types of sofas have to offer, they may just as well be worth it.
But you can also try to get a cheap corner suite or at least an affordable one. Yes, they actually do exist, you just have to search for them a bit longer and be a bit more careful before buying them.
Most stores usually have a corner suite or two assembled and on display for you to try them out and see them in their full size. But these suites are in the end sold as any other. But considering they are already assembled and were tried out by several people, salesmen usually give the buyer a hefty discount. They want them out of their stores so they can put a brand new, stylish corner sofa in their place. And you may also profit more than just the discount value. You are able to try your sofa out right there in the store so there are no surprises after you bring it home.
